Town have included both Sylvain Legwinski and Jon Macken in the squad for Saturday's home game with Southampton. The duo could make their debuts having joined the Blues prior to the transfer window, Legwinski on a two-year deal and Macken on loan until January.

Richard Naylor netted from the spot in the final minute to earn the Town 2000 side a 3-3 draw in his testimonial. Alan Lee and Danny Haynes put the current Town team two up before Jermaine Wright and Marcus Stewart levelled. Haynes netted a penalty and Naylor fittingly completed the scoring.

Town's Carling Cup campaign again ended early as Peterborough won a penalty shoot-out 4-2. Matt Richards and Alex Bruce missed from the spot after goals from Jason De Vos and Billy Clarke had seen the Blues twice come from behind to draw 2-2 after extra-time.
